That’s us – always there for you:

Are you looking for peace and relaxation?

Feel with all your senses is the motto at Camping Paradise Garden in the Vienna Woods. At night, crickets sing you to sleep. When you get up in the morning, your gaze falls on lush green meadow slopes and mountain heights, which awaken in the gentle morning light. Sheep graze peacefully in the meadow not far from the caravan. Site owner Leopold Grandl actively breeds sheep and, as a passionate fruit grower, also cultivates 120 old fruit varieties on his site. At the campsite, which is nestled in an inviting side valley in the Lower Austrian municipality of Kaumberg, campers will find absolute peace and quiet away from any urban noise. And all this just 30 kilometres from the cultural city of VIENNA.

The site was completed in June 2006. There are now 50 pitches available, each of which is more than 100 m² in size. Each pitch has electricity and drinking water connections. Waste water is disposed of via the campsite’s own sewerage system.

A sanitary centre built in 2005 offers every comfort and has a five-star rating from the ADAC and ANWB.

Our restaurant will reopen in 2007. You can enjoy drinks and home cooking from our own kitchen.

The sheep farm next to the campsite and the beautiful surroundings offer many opportunities for short and long walks. The local community of Kaumberg, to which our campsite belongs, offers 52 kilometres of hiking trails.

The newly built cycle path leads through the Triesting and Gölsental valleys from Leobersdorf to St. Pölten.

The very favourable geographical location of the campsite, 30 km south-west of Vienna, is the ideal starting point for visits to Vienna.

You can visit numerous castles, palaces and monasteries around the campsite.

To the north is the Vienna Woods, which has been designated a “Biosphere Park” and is a “Natura 2000” area. Its oak and beech forests are unique in Europe.

To the south are the Alps with the Schneeberg (2076 m, historic cog railway) and the Rax (2007 m, cable car) with magnificent views deep into the Hungarian Pusta. To the west you can see the main Alpine ridge.

To the east is the thermal region with its many historic thermal baths and world-famous wine villages. The baroque town of Baden with its summer operettas in the theatre and the world-famous casino rounds things off.

A tip!

If you are travelling to Hungary, then take the following route. You save 30 km and our campsite is right on the way.

Leave the A1 motorway at the “St. Pölten Süd” exit and take the B20 towards Mariazell as far as Traisen (approx. 15 km). Turn left at the roundabout onto the B18 towards Hainfeld. Continue to Kaumberg (approx. 17 km). Three kilometres after Kaumberg, turn right to the campsite.

We wish you a good journey
